Parkvets - because all vets are not the same

You would be forgiven for thinking that all veterinary practices are alike - after all every vet wants the very best for their patients - but the variation in service levels is as extensive in the veterinary world as it is in any other profession.
Parkvets is an accredited Tier 3 practice with all the facilities and equipment that would imply. We manage the vast majority of our cases in-house without the need for expensive and inconvenient referral and we operate our own out-of-hours service.
Pets are more than just animals to us – they are our patients and your family. Whether a guinea pig, a new kitten or a dog our dedication and skill will provide the best treatment and care for your pet. To achieve this we have a team of 15 vets supported by more than 20 nurses - most of whom are fully qualified and very experienced - who tend our in-patients morning, noon and night. And our vets have over 90 years of cumluative experience, so there is not much we haven't seen.
In the background our CATs (Clinical Administration Team) are on hand to make appointments, book your procedures, guide you through admissions, provide daily updates on in-patients and answer the multitude of questions you may have.
You'll meet our Client Care Team when you visit the practice and their job is to ensure that you receive exactly the level of service and attention you would expect from a premier facility.
If you would like to register, please complete the online form, or call your local branch.

Exotic pets

Veterinary Surgeon Charlotte Hussey has recently joined Parkvets bringing with her an interest in all things exotic. If you have a snake, a reptile, a chicken or any pet which is just a little bit out of the ordinary, then Charlotte would love to see you. Charlotte consults at the Foots Cray hospital on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.
Pet Insurance
Did you know 1 in 3 pets require unexpected veterinary treatment each year? Whilst advances in veterinary medicine mean we can do more for your pet, treatment costs can soon mount up. We recommend Petplan insurance to all our clients to help cover unexpected vets bills. You may be surprised to hear that you are more likely to claim on your pet insurance than your car or household policies (from Allianz Insurance plc). In fact, in our experience if you are one of the few people who don’t need to claim on your pet insurance you really are very lucky indeed! It’s important to be aware that not all pet insurance is the same. Some policies limit the amount of time or money that you can claim for so don’t just shop around on price alone.
