Biography
Heather has always loved animals for as long as she can remember and recalls that whenever she thought of a career she wanted it to be involved with animals.
"I have been at Parkvets since September 2001 and was first employed asa kennel assistant in the evenings. I then did a course called ANA which got me a step closer to being eligible to train as a nurse. After passing these exams I was offered the chance to train to become an RVN. I qualified as a VN in late 2009. I now have shared responsilbility with another nurse for pharmacy duties which involves the ordering of supplies for all the branches and the hospital and all client orders.
At home I have one cat called Daisy who is very spoilt and she knows it. The name Queen for a female cat really does apply to her! But she is always there for me providing cuddles and company, which to my mind is one of the most rewarding parts of having a pet."
