Biography
Lauren's interest and love of animals started from a young age having grown up with many pets. At the age of 14 she started working at a boarding kennels. Says Lauren, "This fuelled my determination to become a veterinary nurse and in November 2007 I joined Parkvets as a trainee veterinary nurse. This was a very exciting prospect for me and I was soon gaining the skills needed to progress to my Level 2 NVQ in Veterinary Nursing. I was enrolled on my course in June 2009 and attended Myerscough College completing my first year in nursing. I have just qualified and am now looking forward to working as an RVN."
For Lauren caring for animals doesn't finish at work but continues at home with her cat Bonnie, who refuses to depart from her favourite chair.
