You are already a responsible pet owner so you know that preventative healthcare is the foundation of your pet’s well being.  Having said that, there are often times when circumstances can prevent you from keeping up to date with basic treatments such as vaccinations and parasite control.

The Parkvets’ Very Important Pet Club is designed to help you budget for these routine treatments by spreading their cost throughout the year with a monthly direct debit.   Plus, the VIP Club benefits include a number of additional discounts, services and benefits.

Very Important Health Checks

For much of its life your pet will be fit, healthy and full of beans, but regular health checks by a veterinary surgeon are still important to confirm that there are no underlying, undetected problems to be addressed. 

The health check is our opportunity to give your pet an MOT.  We will check their heart, teeth, eyes, ears, weight and joints, and of course we will discuss any concerns you may have – however minor.  Over the years, as your pet gets older or suffers from any ongoing conditions, these health checks become invaluable in preventing avoidable problems.

At Parkvets we believe that prevention is better than cure and we want you to have a long and healthy relationship with your pet.

Very Important Dental Health

Oral ill-health is more than just the obvious condition of your pet’s teeth - it can affect their entire sense of wellbeing and cause them to suffer untold discomfort.  Your pet’s health check will establish whether there are any dental problems to be addressed, whilst our expert team will advise you on the nature and consequences of any recommended dental surgery.

Very Important Parasite Control

Put simply, you do not want your pet to have fleas or worms.  These parasites are at best an annoyance and at worst lethal.  Protection is simple and for most pets is nothing more than a monthly spot-on treatment.

·         Includes 12 months’ supply of our recommended combined flea and worm spot-on treatment for cats and dogs or 4 of our recommended spot-on flea treatments for rabbits

Very Important Pet Support Services

Parkvets has a range of nurse clinics and ancillary services designed to support you through your years of pet ownership.  Working in tandem with the vets, the nursing team can advise on a range of issues and ‘have a quiet word with the vet’ if something is worrying you.

Very Important Insurance Cover

Parkvets has always advocated the benefits of pet insurance but recognises that lifelong policies can be expensive and that not all pets are eligible for cover.  The VIP Club brings the optional benefit of accidental injury cover and provides cover for treatments that are the result of an accidental injury.  The cover is for treatment at our practice, however if you and your pet are away from home when cover is needed (anywhere in the UK) then cover is extended to the nearest available vet.  Naturally there are terms and conditions, but we believe this option provides peace of mind and excellent value especially for owners of uninsured or older pets.
