Biography
I graduated from Cambridge vet school in 2006, after which I spent a year in small animal practice before having the opportunity to spend 12 months as an Intern at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, Suffolk. At this specialist centre for dogs and cats I had the chance to work with and learn from European specialists in a variety of veterinary fields, experience which I am now able to put to use in treating the pets of my clients at the Longfield branch of Parkvets.
After spending a month in Greece volunteering for a stray cat welfare charity I joined the Parkvets team in October 2008. Having grown up in south London, it was only a matter of time before I returned to the area! I'm glad to say that I am really enjoying life at Parkvets - all of the staff are passionate about providing the best care possible for our 4-legged patients (and the owners they bring along with them!). I'm particularly proud of the 24-hour service that we are able to provide to our clients.
I am soon to start studying towards a Certificate in Advanced General Practice as a step towards specialising in Internal Medicine. I also have a keen interest in both surgery and preventative medicine - the latter being recognised as incredibly important in ensuring our pets remain healthy.
In my spare time (when I have any!) I enjoy the great outdoors, skiing, and playing the guitar (well, trying to at least!!).
I look forward to getting to know you and your pets over the coming months at Parkvets.
