Registered Veterinary Nurse

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and passionate team. Roles will include inpatient and outpatient care clinics, anaesthetics, minimal lab work and theatre nursing so your day is always varied.
 
This is a Full or Part Time position as we can be flexible with the number of working days / hours. The Full-Time position is usually worked over 5 days however we would welcome applicants looking for a 4-day working week as well. Weekends are 1:4 with a lieu day either side of the working weekend, and you will be part of the SOC rota.

Salary

Salary for the role is up to £33,000 per annum depending on experience.

About Us

ISFM Gold accredited Parkvets Veterinary Hospital is based in Foots Cray within the London Borough of Bexley. We offer 24/7 care to our loyal clients, and we have a large enthusiastic and friendly team. This includes a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant team, night team, client care team, insurance team, bookings team and lab team. We have a huge variety of equipment and offer a variety of specialist disciplines including ultrasound, radiography, MRI, orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and exotics.

Team and Culture 

We currently hold 27 Veterinary surgeons, 28 Veterinary nurses, and a team of 10 Veterinary Care Assistants. We have a range of brilliant and supportive certificate holders in- Surgery, imaging, ophthalmology, dentistry, medicine, and dermatology. Our team are very close knit, involving a lot of socialising outside of work which we are very proud of. The support for one another is second to none and you truly are a part of a family with us at Parkvets.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate must be qualified and registered on the RCVS register, have some experience with working in a busy practice, be enthusiastic and passionate about their role in the hospital and provide gold standard patient care. You will be an active team player with a positive can-do attitude. If you are a clinical coach, it is considered desirable, not essential. Further training will be available should it be needed.
