Dr Sam Mak

Dr. Sam Mak joined the Parkvets team in 2018 after his veterinary training from the University of Edinburgh. He has always had a keen interest in soft tissue surgery along with exotic and wildlife animal medicine. He has taken placement in a variety of zoos and wildlife programs across the UK, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore during his training. Since joining the Parkvets family he has taken forefront with the exotics team to provide the best care from the small and fluffy to the strange and scaly. He has achieved his Postgraduate Certification in Exotic Animal Practice and the Gold rabbit friendly practice status with the Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund in 2023. Currently he is working towards his Advance Practitioner status to further develop his knowledge of care.
