Rose is the Surgical Lead at Parkvets and has worked here for the past 10 years; she achieved her Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2021 and loves helping animals with a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic conditions. She is particularly passionate about obstructive airway surgery and thorough orthopaedic work ups!
She is experienced in performing advanced soft tissue procedures such as TECA-LBO, BOAS surgery and urogenital surgery; she is also confident in the surgical management of emergency presentations such as septic peritonitis, liver lobectomies and urinary obstruction.
For orthopaedic cases, Rose is available to accept referrrals for surgical management of cruciate disease to include TPLO or lateral suture stabilisation. She also offers FHNE surgery, patella luxation surgery and fracture repairs.
Rose is happy to provide opinions of cases and revview x-rays to further support referring vets in their diagnostic and treatment decision. She enjoys a good case discussion and is more than happy to chat and collaborate to find the best solution for your patients.
Outside of work, Rose owns an enthusiastic spaniel who unfortunately contributes to her surgical caseload though his love of adventure and a cat who she sees as perfect in every way.
